2025年9月8日下午,应学院邀请,澳大利亚格里菲斯大学的Zhang Lei博士进行了电子科学与技术相关领域的线上学术报告,主题为“The Optimization of Silicon Anodes: From Yolk-Shell Design to All-Solid-State Lithium-Ion Batteries”。

Zhang Lei博士在报告中重点介绍了硅作为锂离子电池负极材料的研究现状。他指出,硅基负极面临的关键难题是循环稳定性欠佳,主要源于锂化过程中大幅的体积膨胀。为克服这一挑战,提出构建特定空隙空间的蛋黄壳结构硅/碳复合材料。此次报告,Zhang Lei博士不仅分享了进一步提升硅基负极性能的优化方案,还着重探讨了未来电池发展方向,创新性地提出将新型硅基负极系统与全固态锂离子电池相结合的构想。报告会上,学院师生与Zhang Lei博士从材料微观结构对性能的影响,到新构想在实际应用中的潜在问题研究细节和技术方向展开热烈讨论交流。此次报告拓宽了我们的学术视野、深受启发,为科研工作提供了新的思路与方向。

报告人简介:
Dr. Lei Zhang is an ARC DECRA Fellow (2024–2026) at Griffith University, specializing in energy storage materials and waste battery recycling. He earned his Ph.D. in Material Science from the University of Wollongong (2014–2017) and has held research roles at Griffith University since 2017, including Postdoctoral Fellow (2021–2023) and Research Fellow (2017–2021).
Dr. Zhang has secured multiple grants (ARC DECRA as lead CI, ARC Discovery Project as CI) and authored over 80 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals (Nature Communications, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science), with 40+ as first/corresponding author (H-index 36, 4600+ citations). He holds editorial roles for Advanced Fiber Materials, Rare Metals, and Microstructures, and serves on the editorial board of cMat.
